System Overview
The welding robot system consists of a welding robot, welding power source, robot welding torch, electrical control cabinet, operator control station, and an optional safety fence.
After the workpiece is manually positioned in the fixture, the robot automatically performs the welding operation.
Welding Requirements
Before welding, the area within 30 mm of the weld joint must be free of oil, rust, dirt, and other contaminants. The workpiece must also meet the dimensional tolerance requirements specified in the engineering drawings.
Operating Procedure
- Preparation
Prepare the workpieces according to the engineering drawings and production requirements. - Load the Workpiece
The operator loads the workpiece onto the fixture at Station 1. - Position the Workpiece
Push the workpiece against the locating stops to ensure accurate positioning. - Automatic Welding
The operator returns to the designated safe area and presses the Start button. The robot begins the automatic welding cycle according to the programmed welding path. - Unload the Workpiece
After completing the welding operation, the robot moves to Station 2 to weld the next workpiece, while the operator unloads the finished workpiece from Station 1 and loads a new one. - Repeat the Cycle
The process repeats continuously for efficient production.
